Eligibility Criteria
To get selected for the Cognizant Ace Team, you must meet these simple requirements:
- Degree: You must be graduating in the year 2026 with a B.E, B.Tech, M.E, or M.Tech degree.
- Marks: You need to have consistently scored at least 60% in your 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), and UG degree.
- No Backlogs: Students with active arrears (backlogs) cannot apply.
- Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen or an OCI currently living in India.
- Flexibility: You must be willing to work in any Cognizant office location and in varying shift timings.
What Skills Do You Need?
Cognizant is looking for students who know the basics of coding and AI. Having experience in hackathons or personal AI projects is a big plus!
- Programming: Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or SQL.
- AI Knowledge: Working with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot.
- Cloud Basics: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, or Git.
The Hiring Process
The selection process happens in April and May 2026. You only get one attempt for all assessments.
- Registration: Apply online before April 29, 2026.
- Round 1 (Online Aptitude Test): Shortlisted students will take a basic aptitude test in May 2026.
- Round 2 (Online Technical Test): If you clear Round 1, you will face a technical skills test in May 2026.
- Round 3 (Offline Interview): If you pass the tests, you will be called for an in-person technical interview at a Cognizant office or nodal college in May 2026.
- Job Offer: Selected candidates will receive a Letter of Intent (LOI) to join as Full-Time Employees after finishing their degree.
