Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to, review, and maintain code in active open-source repositories, ensuring high standards of quality and collaboration.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in Git, including advanced workflows, branching strategies, rebasing, and merge conflict resolution.
• Diagnose and debug complex repository states, identifying issues in commit history, branches, or references.
• Repair broken or inconsistent Git histories while preserving all existing data and minimising disruption to collaborators.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in open-source, backend, or DevOps roles.
• Proven track record of meaningful contributions to open-source projects on platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or other OSS communities.
• (Bonus) Experience participating in code reviews or evaluating AI/LLM models for quality, correctness, or performance.
