Job Responsibilities
- Ensure customers gain maximum value from our solutions and can use them efficiently.
- Provide timely and effective issue resolution to strategic customers across multiple support channels.
- Develop tailored solutions by understanding each customer’s unique business needs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to consistently exceed expectations.
- Keep customers informed on case progress and ensure their satisfaction with our support.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to design and implement innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the global Red Hat knowledge base by documenting troubleshooting steps and sharing solutions with peers.
- Manage customer cases effectively, maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation.
- Participate in customer case review calls as needed to ensure alignment and resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Linux or UNIX system administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience within the enterprise IT sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of the Linux kernel and networking concepts.
- Solid understanding of OpenStack architecture, with hands-on experience in administering its core components.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a strong passion for problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
- Proven experience in customer service or technical support, with a commitment to delivering outstanding assistance.
- Ability to maintain and strengthen enterprise customer and partner relationships through high-quality support delivery.
- Possession of, or willingness to obtain within 90 days, a Red Hat certification such as RHCSA (in Red Hat OpenStack) or RHCE.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with minimal structure.
- Eagerness and ability to continuously learn and adopt new open-source technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
